Celtic Club library & seniors kiosk
Located in the basement of the Celtic Club is our well appointed and comfortable library that is open to all members.
Adjoining the library is our new Seniors Computer Kiosk where our tutors offer an introduction to computer use and ongoing training.
Lending library
Our lending library has a collection of over 1,300 books on our Irish and Australian-Irish history, literature, language, politics and the arts (including music, dance and theatre). This also includes various periodicals and magazines.
The library also contains a special Australiana section including a number of books on 'Eureka and democracy' and Australian Bushrangers, featuring Ned Kelly.
The Senior's kiosk
The Senior's kiosk free training program includes introduction to work processing, connecting to the internet, sending emails and attachments, etc, as well as free ongoing computer use. Open to all bring a friend.

Our club newsletter and website will carry a report from the library and will include such items as Book of the Month, Reviews and Notice of Reading Circle/Film Club sessions.
Reading Circle & Film Club
Sessions every 2 months or so
The aim of our Reading Circle/Film Club is to present story lines, relevant publications and films on various destinations, themes and characters that have contributed to our Australian-Irish heritage, history and culture. Our library is a valuable resource that can assist in these presentations and discussions.
We encourage members
Members are encouraged to visit our Library and Senior's kiosk, to join in our Reading Circle and Film Club and to consider making a donation of books or if you have spare time to act as an honorary librarian.
